Education and adventure trails in Bamberg

The adventure trails in the city reveal the wonders of nature and the history of Bamberg. This is an ideal opportunity to discover the local biotopes or to immerse yourself in tranquility and calm.

The ecological education and adventure trail introduces the numerous biotopes in Bamberg. At various stations along the route, walkers can engage in various activities, such as estimating the age of a tree. The "Regnitz lifeline" is at the centre of the river trail which is particularly suitable for children, who are guided along the path by little Kunigunde, drawn by famous German children's author and illustrator Paul Maar. The path around St. Michael's Monastery invites strollers to pause for thought and look at life from a different angle.
