On Cathedral Hill, the most famous of the seven hills, the history of the town which goes back more than a thousand years, comes within our grasp. The Imperial Cathedral, boasting four spires, the Old Court and the New Residence come together to create an outstanding ensemble of different styles and eras of architecture and art. The edifices on the hills called Michaelsberg, Stephansberg, Jakobsberg and Kaulberg are also well worth a visit.
