 | A stroll through the townStepping into the life of Kunigunde is a trail created to mark the anniversary of the Bishopric in 2007. This multi-facetted stroll starts at Kunigundendamm, leading past various statues of the saintly empress until finally reaching the Cathedral. Together with her husband Heinrich II. or represented on her own, Kunigunde can usually be recognised by the church model she is holding in her hands - a reference to her contribution to the episcopal foundation. The Cathedral also contains the relics of the imperial couple's heads and their tomb, created by Tilman Riemenschneider. |
