Wernsdorf Palace is located at the gates of Bamberg in the village of Wernsdorf on the edge of Franconian Switzerland. The former prince-bishop's hunting palace is today home to the Wernsdorf Palace Academy, a cultural sponsor devoted to cultivating and preserving old music and musical instruments. On a guided tour through the palace you will experience the "melodic museum" featuring musical instruments from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance period. Besides having the instruments explained to you, you can also enjoy listening to them during a small concert.
