Bamberg - the Christmas city

An atmospheric experience!

The focus of this programme is the city's nativity trail, coupled with a stroll through the atmospheric Christmas market.

Programme:

11.30am: Lunch at an inn in the Old Town. Turkey strips in a cream sauce with hash browns and mixed salad;
or
Bamberg-style roast pork with crackling, savoy cabbage and a dumpling
1pm: Special guided tour "From nativity scene to nativity scene"; two-hour tour featuring selected scenes along the nativity trail.
3pm: Cosy end to the day with a stroll through the Christmas market with hot mulled wine, including a mulled wine mug as a souvenir
or
Traditional German "coffee and cake" with Christmas stollen
