Special exhibition 2009: "Carved, turned and sawn - Nativity Scenes made of wood"

Besides its 9th completely revamped Christmas exhibition, the museum shows a unique selection of nativity scenes made of wood by important national and international nativity scene makers. The exhibition shows the whole range of wooden nativity scenes and what can be done in wood, a work material, that has influenced the making of nativity scenes for centuries.

The little museum shop, "Zeuch un War" (Bric-a-brac and the likes) sells both new and historical nativity scenes and other antiques.

Starting in the spring of 2010, the fourth summer exhibition will show the most popular exhibits of the 2009-2010 winter exhibition.
