The nativity scene is based on folklore and oriental interpretations. It is, in fact, a year-round crib. In addition, four wooden relief images on the high altar depict the Holy Night, Joseph's dream, the flight to Egypt and Jesus in the temple as a twelve-year-old boy. The centrepiece shows Joseph with Jesus as the son of David (created by Werkstatt Staerk, Nuremberg in 1905/06).
