 Since the 19th century the large park in the south of Bamberg called "Hain" has always been a meeting point for the citizens of Bamberg on their Sunday stroll. Two historical pavilions were originally used for cultural events and concerts. Nowadays this tradition has been revived by a group of local artists.
Every first Sunday in August, the artists set up an exhibition in the pavilions, often accompanied by music and dramatic reading. A great happening in dialogue with the nature surrounding the pavilion. |
