Art and culture can be fun, even for young visitors to Bamberg! Children and youths see cities through different eyes. They want to feel a sense of adventure and are bubbling with questions. This guided tour focuses on the more exciting and self-explanatory aspects of Bamberg's history.

Besides visiting significant sights such as the Cathedral, the New Residence and the Old Town Hall, the children will find out why, for example, the people of Bamberg are known as "Onion Treaders" and what a Bamberg "Hörnla" is. A visit to the bird hall in the Natural History Museum rounds off this ramble through Bamberg.

Please note that a visit inside the Cathedral cannot be guaranteed. Viewings are generally not possible during mass and other church services and events or on the following days: Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday to Good Friday, 29/30 June, 1/2 November and 24 December. Guided tours through the Cathedral are also not possible on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
