In the last years, Bamberg hit the headlines with the modern art exhibitions for the general public initiated by the International Artists" house Villa Concordia. In June 2001, the purchase of modern scultptures of Fernando Botero and Igor Mitoraj by the citizens made it possible to start Bamberg"s Path of scultpures. The last scupture added is made by Joannis Avramidis
